Job Summary: As a Remote NEMT Dispatcher at Elite Care Transports, you will play a
crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation logistics for our clients in
the Irving, Texas area. This position offers both full-time and part-time options, providing
flexibility for individuals seeking a rewarding and impactful role. Whether you prefer to
work from the comfort of your home or participate in a hybrid work environment, this
opportunity caters to your preferences. The starting pay ranges from $16 to $18 per
hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
1. Dispatching Services:
Receive and process transportation requests from clients and healthcare
facilities.
Efficiently schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure timely pickups and
drop-offs.
Monitor routes and update drivers on any changes or adjustments.
2. Communication and Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and
concerns promptly and courteously.
Communicate with drivers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to
coordinate transportation details.
Keep clients informed about their transportation status and any delays or
schedule adjustments.
3. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of dispatch activities, driver
assignments, and trip details.
Compile and organize transportation data for reporting and analysis
purposes.
4. Emergency Response:
Act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, coordinating with
drivers and relevant authorities.
Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and
well-being of clients.
5. Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other departments, including operations and
customer service, to optimize transportation efficiency.
Provide support and assistance to drivers as needed to ensure smooth
operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Familiarity with the Irving, Texas area and its surrounding regions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Proficiency in using computer systems and dispatch software is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.
